Project Title
Cannons, Catapults and Trebuchets:
Each student has been assigned a topic (Cannon, Catapult or Trebuchet) They have received one copy of the assigned research mini project paper. Below please find this year's copy of the Punkin Chunkin letter. This describes the basic parameters of the project. A visual component is required...but that does NOT mean you have to build a replica of the assigned device...although I know many students already have plans/ideas of creating their own device. Pictures, drawings, paintings, etc are all valid and acceptable visual parts to this project. Have fun!

Native American Homes/Shelter:The expectation of this research project is that the student will research a specific Native American home or shelter. From this research they will compose clear and complete sentences about the home, it’s primary characteristics and then it’s strengths and weaknesses or limitations. This written information will later be transcribed by the student into a PowerPoint (in class and computer lab at school).
Visual components are expected with this research. The options are quite broad…the student (with help) can create a miniature model, use sketches or images from the internet, or they can draw or paint their own rendering of the home/shelter that they have researched. |
